New here, just saying hi
Hey there, I'm the new guy. I have a 41 ford super deluxe fordor that has been in the family since the late 50's. It hasn't ran since 66, and was given to me last fall.
The flathead was froze up and broke. So I have installed a sbc, th350, and explorer 8.8 with disc brakes. I have done a disc conversion up front. Lowered front crossmember, shock kit front and rear, lead kit, etc etc.
My goal is to have it running, driving, and stopping by July. This is my first ever car build so there have been many setbacks, I've had it together and back apart I don't know how many times lol. I did wire up the engine and broke in the cam. So now I'm down to needing a driveline to get built, and wire it all up. My wiring harness will be here Tuesday from speedway. I've spent just about every weekend on it since last fall, it was my mom's first car so I'm determined to take her for a ride before summer is over.
I'm in SW Washington, glad to be here! I have spent time on a different forum but really dislike some of their rules.
Anyway enough about that, I was directed here and was told this site isn't that way so thanks for having me! Here's some pics:

And dodge rotors on the front brakes! Yeah I know I'm gonna catch a lot of flack, but I don't care. And I like the look of those GM ralley's, But oh boy the purists are gonna turn inside out haha! I was actually banned of posting pics on a different site because of the white letters and ralley's lol!!!! If it makes em feel better I used a ford rear endBetter keep that hood closed around the Ford guys, especially the Flathead guys...
