hello everyone

im chuck i recently bought a 63 ford falcon van with a chevy 350 and 700r4 combo runs goos having some suspension issues

and looking for a good resource

welcome Chuck...................my dad had a brand new 68 Chevy van..........it had suspension issues when it was brand new...not the best design.

i want to go ifs with the front since i plan on bagging it



need to change the brakes and figure out how to make it steer easier :evil:

heres a pic i got a few more ill post

(i sliced my index finger clean open earlier so im typing kinda funny)

By now, you probably realise that the van is a unibody, which makes it a little harder to chop up the frame. Maybe a later model van subframe may be the way to go. One with "A" frames.

right unibodys suck but with a subframe from like a camaro or mustang (also unibody) im thinking i could make it work also since the motor is way back behind the axle it shouldnt be too hard just need to know what the easiest way to go would be


i got lots of time but little money :pain:
