I'm a soon-to-be-retired engineer and recently back into the hot rod game. Before I got into engineering I earned my living honestly for nine years as an auto mechanic. In 1960 I started building a 261 Chevy six with a 12 port head. For a variety of reasons it has sat in the corners of several garages until last year when I started rebuilding it to put in a glass 32 highboy. I've been using the helpful bulletin boards of the Inliners International and The Stovebolt Page, and I just ran into this board while searching for information on welding up an exhaust system, as that will be my next project. This looks to be a great site. It has a spell checker, too!
