Hi VWFan.. I used to work for a guy that did VW's. I have welded up and painted over 30 bugs. Got where I could paint one with my eyes closed. The oldest one was a 57....still had the semiphores( did I spell that anywhere near right?). We also did a V8 bug that was a hoot to drive. Take care.....Dave
