Thank you for adding me to the forum.

I grew up around cars. My father was a self employed mobile repair mechanic; and I spent a lot of time helping him both on jobs and on his own vehicles.

Now my main project is a 1988 Caprice. A little modern to be a Hot Rod, but to me it is one of the last of the great American classics - RWD, body on frame, carbureted, etc. Originally I bought it because it was the closest I could afford to my favorite car - the 1967 Impala/Caprice - but I have continued to fall in love with it, and with classic vehicles in general. Overall goal for the car is to have a fun cruiser/daily driver, with a mild pro-touring feel.

Right now the car is in need of an engine, but I am hoping to have it back on the road by summer.

My other rides are a 1999 Buick Century, which the wife mostly drives, and a '91 Jeep Cherokee which has been a great beater for the last year and a half.

Thanks for reading!
