I have been restoring offshore sport boats (not commercially) for many years and decided to try my hand on a car.

After months of looking at all sorts of vehicles, I decided I would like to start with a Chevy Impala SS '62-64.

I saw this build that Troy Trepanier did on a Biscayne and it tipped the scales for me.

I recently found this '64 Impala SS and bought it.


Now all I need to do is find a shipping Company to get it from Oklahoma to San Francisco, Ca.

Nice car! I learned to drive in a '63 Impala SS 2-dr HT, mint blue metallic, engine-turned aluminum panels in tail light section and dash, console shifted PG and 327 power. BEAUTIFUL car. My son-in-law's step father is retired and drives vehicles to destinations all over the country for a part time job. Don't know what he charges or even if it is competitive with trucking but if you are interested, I'll ask him.
