Hi Guys and Gals,
I'm retired, but with grandchildren, I don't have a lot of spare time.
I purchased a rusty old 1946 Chevy pick-up off a homestead here in Alaska, and found your forum after that.
I have some questions about the year of the truck, as I could not find any Army markings or metal tags on it. Maybe you could help me identify it as I get photos and can give you a better look.
Basic skills include gas, stick, and wirefeed welding. Basic mechanical skills will alow me to proceed with confidence on my project truck. Electrical wiring, well, I'll be asking for help.
As I look at past posts, I'll be able to formulate intelegent questions. I DO NOT have an organized shop, and will be puchasing a restoration book that says it will help me organize tasks in order , so nothing gets left out.
I'm looking forward to meeting you all. Thank you for allowing me to join you.
