I would like to take the opportunity to introduce myself. I am in the process of rebuilding an old Jeep CJ7 with my son. He has just turned 16 and wanted the Jeep. It gives me the opportunity to spend some quality time with him and he has been learning quite a bit in doing so. I know, the Jeep in not a hotrod, but we are going through all of the same steps. We started by stripping it down to the frame, blasting and restoring each component. We swapped in a 91 Mustang 5.0 HO into it. We still have quite a bit left to go. I look forward to tapping into everyones knowledge and advice. Hopefully, I will be able to contribute and help others as well.

Thanks fellas,
We still have quite a bit of work left. We have been fighting engine tuning. We didn’t have all of the fuel injection components, so we opted for the carburetor. We used the stock ignition system from an ’85 Mustang due to the steel gear for the roller cam. We finally borrowed a carburetor from a friend and she runs great. Now we have to buy one for it and I was wondering what the best carb would be for this. The engine is basically a stock ’91 Mustang 5.0 HO with a four barrel carb and headers. I would like to stay around a 600 CFM, but don’t know if we should go with the Holley or the Edelbrock. Any suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
