Ive just purchased a '63 4dr Impala that I am going to rebuild, though I may have gotten in over my head, only time will tell.
The body is straight with only a few dents and rust, but its not the original engine and I am now thinking of putting in a 383.
Any help yall can offer me on my project is appreciated.

Just got done pulling out the motor and tranny. Up till now we couldnt figure out why there was a huge cut in the floorpan where a shifter would go. Well, someone didnt tighten down the tranny to begin with so the drive shaft was bouncin up and down and eventually wore through. I know I will find many more gems like that on this car.
