Well. I guess I goona step up and start postin here.. ( I allready post on thesamba (double lifer, Vw site...) and Pirate4x4 .. not a motor or mechanics guy, but I graduated from Wyo tech, a couple of years ago so I gots the sheet metal fab thing down.. I own a 1960 Vw double cab... Dont expect most of you to know what it is.. dont worry, a 28-29 five window or truck is in the plans... I am into the classic look of rodz but hate the term rat rod. I am into most anything from the 50.. and live in parridice.. thats right Hawaii!! oh Im 24 too... anything else???

Welcome. My wife and I vacation on the islands almost every year (Kauai) and i am aware of the strong hot rod community there. Incidentally, "rat rod" is becoming a pretty prestigious term, just like hot rod did. See this discussion.
