My name is Chris, I own a 1964 Impala SS that I rebuilt back in high school (10+ years ago) and I am preparing to do it again here in the next few years. So expect LOTS of questions about, transmission options, gear/locker combos, aspiration options and the like. I look forward to interacting with you all.

Hey welcome to the board! My dad used to have a brand new Impala back in 64. He didn't like the bucket seats in the SS so he didn't buy it. Now he's looking around for a restorable or restored one. Wasn't that stock yellow colour just ugly? guess which one he had.

Thank you for the warm welcome...

She is long and black, red interior and currently gets pushed around by a 283/powerglide, but that will soon change as I have a Muncie 4-speed that I want to throw in her with a motor that has quite a bit more power than she currently has.....maybe a 383....

You are right.......that yellow color WAS ugly....
