Hello everyone nice board and nice website.

I am a Chevy fan and have been forever. I have made my living as a tool and Die maker for the last 30 years and therefore owe a lot to the north american automotive industry.

No imports in my driveway

in the mid 80's I raced stock cars at a local dirt track. Wrecked a lot of 70 to 72 chevelles and 3 70 monte carlos

Past Projects also include buiding a V8 Astre Did all that work and only put a 283 in it oops still no horsepower.

My current project is hot rodding my 87 camaro wich i drove for over 8 years. It is now in the garage and has been for the last year and a half. The Rust repair is done, Engine is done suspension mods done. Body mods almost done and ready for primer. Hope to have it on the road in the spring.

I read the post about Newbies so her goes.

I have enjoyed working on cars for over 30 years so far. My first project was a v8 73 Astre Gt Landou Broughm. We put a 283 in it, with home made headers that exited through the fenders to side pipes. the project looked good when complete but it was a dog. Stock 283 didn't have much get up and go.

The Next big projects I worked on were Stock Cars. I had quite a few Chevelles and Montecarlos tha I converted into stock cars and had a great time racing for about 4 years in the mid 80's. See photo album signature picture has stock car in it.

the Current project is a father and son project to build an 87 Camaro that can do it all. We dubbed it project ZZD zig Zag and Drag. We hope to be able to drive it for fun, take in a drag race or two, participate in the king of the hill a the local circle track (Delaware International Speedway), Participate in local Autocross events and Show it at the weekly hotrodders meetings at the mall.
