[nova 73]

OK. I have a 73 nova wit a 350, recently i was losing engine power when running. i figuered it was an altenator, o.k i disconnected the battery and accidently touched metal trowing sparks everywhere, now the car won't crank and no kind of electric working. i changed da ignition switch and battery, fuses are fine, some mech said that is a fusible link, but where are they?

Yup, Sounds like you burned the fusible link open..

Fuse links are traditionally located on the Starter solenoid Battery Cable bolt (the smaller 10 ga wire), or the Horn relay, Or at a single terminal at or near the battery. Check those places for a burned section of wire..you may have to untape the harness.

If it is blown, Yes it should.

Steve, Yes if it is a Fuse link..If it is a MAXI fuse (like used on Fords) then replace it with the same size MAXI.
