Does anyone know the normal operating temp. on a 2003 chevy corvette LS2 motor? Im trying to find out for a friend of mine. His car constantly runs at 220 also runs until 230 deg befor the fans kick on. To me this seems a little high for normal operating. Is this normal??

I belive the new corvettes come with syn. oil .A good reason to run syn. oil is temp. range.

That sounds about right for that engine. Those engines are designed to run hotter for emissions purposes.
