KFC Bucket

This month T Bucket cool, then I thought this is November. The month of Turkey, dressing and all the other good stuff. Then I had a flash back of last Thanksgiving here at the Miners Inn.The Betty that runs the place told the regulars that she would make the turkey dinner. Now I have never seen that women make anything other then a warm up pizza. But who"s to question a women that carries a seven inch knife on her hip and reads self help books. So it is time for dinner and the smell is to die for. The regulars gather around the counter or bar depending what time of day it is. Here it comes a big plate of goodness. We all thanked the Lord for the gathering of old friends and we dug in .I bit into a big piece of dark meat and that bird was tough and dry. I got up and look behind the counter at the floor. Betty who was watching ask, What are you looking for?The piece of flooring that is missing because I think it is in my mouth. She came unglued pulled the knife into the air and started yelling words that did not come from self help books. Me and the front seat of the Hot Rod were partners for the night. This year it is KFC..HAPPY THANKSGIVING to All. Signed Vagabond road artist Lincoln Highway Johnny

I seem to be getting a late start for the past few months. Never seems to be enough time to get things done. First of all, I will compliment everyone for their quality art contributions this month. Usually the same guys, same high standard of work! I'm glad to be in your company! Here's my "T" for this month....

Yeah, I'm fine. Thanks for asking. I live outside of Springfield, where the explosion happened. A friend of mine, a firefighter in Springfield was telling me this morning that if they didn't evacuate a few hundred people from the area 15 minutes before the explosion, there would have been multiple deaths. As it was, 18 people (firemen, cops, gas company workers) were injured, none life threatening, which is probably a miracle in itself. Western Mass. has had some bad luck the past few years - tornadoes, earthquake, NorEasters, hurricane, gas explosions. Just waiting for the locusts to come now! LOL
