Well as I've said before I was going to make the running boards for my '46 Chevy Panel from oak and today was the first test fit. Have to do a little fine tuning on the fit around the rear fender but it fit nice. I also messed up the finish from glue expanding out, stained and dyed them first, but I can fix that with no problem. And I still have to add the front lip. After fixing them it will be 5 coats of Marine grade clear varnish for a slick, shiny finish :thumbup:
