I have searched the data base and found some info on scanners for the obd II system. I am totally ignorant with this stuff and was wonder if some one that know about scanners and obd II would PM me and give me some schooling on the system and the proper scanner to purchase. This could get long and drawn out on my end , and i thought it would be better to go the PM route....

I would like to see what the others have to say about scanners. The 1st one I used cost about $100,000. Of course it was the dealer issue unit (SBDS). Large console unit and fortunately it wasn't mine.
