okay well I know theres been a couple of "clicking noise" threads hopefully mines a bit easier. heres the situation. only when I turn the key to "on" will I hear a clicking under the hood after about a minute it turns off. so I figured it's the choke. Nope! chokes vacuum powered. so therefore it's not engaged till I start the motor. the motor is 4 barrel carb 305 it has no trouble starting unless it's cold out 40-below. I usually use starting fluid to kick the ol' girl over. 78k miles are on the motor so it shouldn't be in to bad of shape. any ideas at all? (clicking stops when motor starts and as I said about after a minute) I sounds like it's coming from the carb but I'm not sure. any ideas? the carbs a 4 barrel rochester q-jet. 500cfm or so..something like that. thanks
