This is a colorized photo of my grandmother washing her 1947 Buick Roadmaster.

Year of picture is unknown as is the color of the car. But from an artistic standpoint, I think the effect is perfect. Photo was scanned and colorized by my father here recently.

I just loved the effect and wanted to share.

Here’s another one that my dad just sent me.

This is my dad standing on the bumper “helping” the local mechanic work on his mom’s car - 1951 Oldsmobile 98 2-door.

This is another original black and white photo colorized by my father.

I absolutely love the effect of the colors overlayed on the black and white car.

I’m thinking I’m going to get this one and the one above printed out on canvas to hang in my office at work.

That is a very cool picture. He looks very dapper in that picture. Days long gone for sure.

Nice pictures on here of a time gone past. My Dad had a belt driven Velocette in his younger days, would have been nice if I could have had a picture of him with it.
