I saw this sweet 1963 Plymouth Reliant at an auction preview today. It has some rust on the right lower side of the car. It has like two rusted holes...3 inches long...maybe 1 inch wide. Although the wider area probably has to be replaced. Im sure the material wont cost much, but the labor is what is gonna kill me. On average, how much does it cost to get something like that fixed?? The car will start at auction for $150, so I may get luck and get it for under $1000. Its not a classic car auction, it just happend to be there. The interior is in pretty good condition, and it runs like a champ.

If you have a MIG welder and know how to use it, it will cost you the price of a sheet of steel. If you don't probably $55-$75 an hour. If you just want it patched with no paintwork or finishing probably $150 give or take. Basic repaint and finishing from $700-1500 depending on paint type and shop.
