I'm a product of the 50's with an appreciation for new technology too. My first car was a 1967 Camaro that I spent every waking hour tweaking, much to the chagrin of my girlfriend at the time. Street racing and drag racing were the focus back then. Think I gave $1,200 for that car. After spending 15 years racing dirt cars I'm currently playing with a 1965 Chevelle SS that I painted.
I have unfinished projects like a 1929 Model A sport coupe and an unrestored '57 Chevy convertible that may have to wait until I retire!

I appreciate all of the cool things that are discussed within this site and hope to contribute in some small way.

howdy hi. i'm thinking just buy a new hot rod instead of continuing on with this hot rod thing. have to spend a ton of $ to make anything as fast as a new car today. and handling? forget it.
