anybody here have any experiences with the ACC "Boss Hog" torque converters? I put in a B&M holeshot and can't tell any difference from the stock converter. the guy at the local tranny shop looked at it and told me my converter was nothing special, it was just a p6, whatever that is. anyways, I am pretty disgusted with the B&M so far as the money I put out and the performance I didn't get. I'm looking at a 3600 stall ACC, but they are considerably cheaper than the B&M, not that this is a bad thing. anyone have any experiences good or bad with them? if it matters the car is a lemans (kinda heavy I spose) 455, powerglide and 4:10 rears.

ive used 4 of them in a 68 camaro and a 86 pickup t0 a 68 elcamino.they have all worked great.i cant tell any difference between them and the high dollar convertors. it appears as though acc has the hot rodders in mind that have other obligations to spend their money on besides their cars. i would call them and tell them your combo and see wich one they suggest. they havent steered me wrong yet. also dont forget to run a auxillery cooler.
