original paint colors????

Does anyone know what the original colors were for the 57 Chevy car?

Imperial Ivory
Inca silver
Dusk pearl
Tropical terquiose
Laurel Green
Calypso cream
Grecia gold
India Ivory
Coranado yellow
Canyon coral
Colonial cream
Highland green
Surf green
Larkspur blue

Those were the new colors from 1957. Some 1957 chevrolets were painted with exsisting colors from 1956 such as:

Harbor blue
Matador red
Sierra gold
Adobe beige

Those were the colors used, some were only available in single tones during those production years. If you need anymore help feel free to ask.

Here is a site with the actual color charts displayed and printable. They won't be very accurate, but if you see a color you are interested in seeing... try to google "57 chevy", and then the color name....then click on images at the top left of the google page. Pictures of actual cars will give you a better idea of how the color displays.

The copper metallic is a great color! So is the Turquoise!
