If no, what are you guys using as a replacement after stripping before primer ? I want to do some body stuff and I heard OSPHO is A1 for a rust inhibitor on bare metal before primer ?

i would suggest you check with your paint mfgr tech first.

Me too .....If they dont personally make it they'll never recomend it...Dupont makes a metal prep that they recomend but PPG says it wont work with their paints...funny the ingrediants in most paints are the same...and the metal preps are alcohol and water but they say going to the drug store and buying alcahol at ten times less money wont work ether...hymmmm .....I've been using OSPHO for years ...very sucessfully ,but some guys can screw up a free lunch.....if you want to build a house with nails,ask a guy that builds houses with nails,not a guy that built one house with nails and had it fall down..... :mwink:
