im completly at a loss on this one one minute its working then it doesnt i dont understand it..

the car is a 89 chevy camaro rs, it has a 700r4 transmission
i just recently replace the engine...and now nothing work exaclty right
i had the overdrive working in it with the new engine then i swapped out batteries and after that overdrive doesnt work????

Is there no shift into overdrive,or does it slip going into overdrive?

What are all of the other shifts like? Late,early,ontime?
