Hi everyone,

I have a problem and I hope someone can help me out a little. The 350 engine in my Chevy s-10 has been punched out 60 over. I am currently using a radiator from a 98 full size Chevy. It runs good during the cooler months, but overheats in the summer. Currently using water wetter that seems to help, but still have overheating issues. Any suggestions would be great.

Make sure your water pump is up to snuff. The water pump on an s-10 has a lower flow rate and a smaller turbine than the full-size versions. Best bet is to find a high-performance version. This is assuming you've done a coolant flush and there are no leaks, of course.

Open the radiator cap. Are the fins clogged?
