Hey guys,, need an opinion. The wife wants me to paint her golf cart,, she likes candy apple red (YIKES! never painted candy before). I've been looking at some single stage base metallic, mid coat candy then clear packages.

That said,,, the question is how much paint?? Do you think a quart of each is enough?? Mixes 4-1 for each. Thanks!!

I just painted mine a Black Cherry SS over top or a decent primer. Did the top in a Bright White SS - paint came from Summit Racing. I used a touch-up gun to get into the bottom area of the front seat, the rest of it I shot with a full size gun. Turned out nice, but my grandkids drive the daylights out of it so I wanted something that I could touch up a corner because they will rub it on something eventually.

If you're not doing the top, a single quart mixed out at least on a 2:1 will be more than enough.
