I have a 62 nova all apart and getting ready for paint.The ? I have is it better to paint it in pieces or to jam everything ant put it back togather and mask all the jams and paint the out side all at once need help.

It is always best to spray all jambs and hard to reach places (inside fender edges, etc) first before you assemble the car. It's a little more work but the results are worth the effort... :cool:

I would paint all the jams, inside fenders and interior first. Put it back together and plan a day of masking it all off. Be careful when you mask the jams to leave your tape line below the edge of the the door jams. If you mask it right up to the corner, it will be hard to blend and will be prone to chip. I learned this the hard way is why I am pointing it out. If it is possible to cover the line with the door seal that is even better.
