Hi,

im having trouble deciding where to begin my restoring of 65 chevy impala

I dont know whats first, exterior or interior. I want to paint my car all black

This are the things I want to do with the car

New paint job (color change inside and out, right now its white and blue interior)
Install a BM Shifter instead of column
Make a custom center console with cup holders and for the bm shifter
Replace bench seats for bucket seats
Buy new window knobs, pedals, side mirrors, rear view mirror, center head console, and windvisor
New steering wheel
New carpet

I already have stereo and all gauges and air conditioner on the dash (i have posted pics)

If you have any idea or can give me directions on where to start that will be awesome

Rule of thumb John is to do the paint and body first. It is very difficult to protect the inside of the car while doing paint work.

The 65 Impala is a beautiful car. Good luck with your project.

Unless you want it to look like crap in the end, do it after paint and body. It's so hard to keep clean. My biggest regret in my Mustang was doing so many things before or during paint and body. Many of the shiny new parts didn't look so shiny and new anymore.
