Howdy! I am putting a brand new small block in my 53 chevy with an offenhauser manifold with a filler tube I got some calcustom finned valve covers with no holes and i would like to keep them that way, I am using an edelbrock carb, I was wondering if i put an oil filler tube from a corvette with a pcv valve in it and hook it to the back of the carb would this be enough venitlation for the valve? any help would be appreciated.

as long as your connecting to the correct vacuum signal it`ll work fine, however, you mentioned vent, where is the vent? for it to work there must be fresh air ventalation for the pcv system, the vent needs to have a breather on it also.
