I have any 85 chevy short wide with a 385 stroker a perfomance tuned 700 r4 and 4.10 gears I will be runnin a 295/50-15 tire which is about a 26 inch tire. I want to change the gears so that I get desent gas milage but still have good red light to red light prformance

With 4.10 gear & the 700R4's .70 4th/OD gear you'll have a 2.87 final, so that's not bad for MPG.
