I just bought a 93 Toyotafor my wife to drive for work and the paint is in need of some work and the pinstriping along the upper body line is bad. what is the best way to remove the offending stripe so I can detail the body and then replace the stripes? :smash:

stripe removal

I would use a heat gun or hair dryer to loosen the stripes, then you should be able to pull them off. Then clean any glue left with "GooGone"

if the stripe has been on and baked on after years of uv damage you can purchase what is called a rubber ripping wheel it connects to the end of your air speed drill and is made up of eraser material and dosent damage the paint takes stripe and glue right off
