:welcome: I have a 351w which i am putting in a 67 mustang! :confused: i want to build a stroker motor and saw some pistons on ebay: VENOLIA PISTONS FOR 418 WINDSOR FORD they have a 4.060 bore....is this bad? my 351w is a stock 1974 motor and would have to be bored out for the pistons to fit :smash: ....can some one give me some insight in PROs AND CONs?

+.060 over on a W is the limit. Good sonic checking is a must to insure sufficient wall thickness for the power you intend to make.

I suggest sticking with a max of .030 overbore (4.0 inch stroke = 408 cubes) when spending that much money on a W engine.

You are going to need a LOT of head. (NPI)

I suggest that you get your stroker parts from the same supplier that sells it as a "kit".
