just picked up a 350 out of a 74 camaro tore the heads of and i found them to be 882 76 cc but the pistons i cant find any info on these things ##s are trw L3026-f they look like there a dish im worried that a 76cc head and trw dish pistons my comp.would be way to low for a street rod. the cam that i pulled i cant find any info on it either the ##s on it are c1h288-u any info on these parts would be great

The 882 heads and dished pistons in a 350 are going to put you at probably less then 8:1. Either the heads or the pistons (or both) are going to have to go if you want a "street rod".

thanks bob i will start looking into this cam.now if i can find web sites id be in great shape.i just put my dial indicator on and gave it a spin one lifter came up 3.05x1.5 lift =4.57 and the other 3.12 that would make it 4.68 lift.MI2600 thats kinda what i was thinking less work to replace the heads and they kinda suck becouse of the thin casting on 882 not to mention i have 1.74 intake valves on it .looking at the piston numbers i have a feeling that l3026 l meaning forged 30 meaning 30 over and 26 26cc just a shot in the dark
