What do you guys use to seal over the seams after welding in new floorpans? I am not too concerned about the appearance because the car is not show, i just want a good seal to keep any would be moisture out.

If I get one more backwoods Illinois redneck around here tell me to use "roofin' tar, I'm going to scream!"

What products are current, and stay somewhat flexible? Do you put them over the paint typically or do you paint over them? Is that "stringy" looking stuff that auto manufacturers good?

Thanks in advance guys!

The correct product to use is called "seam sealer" and it is available at any atotmotive paint supply store, and I think NAPA also has it. You just load up your calking gun, cut the tip off, insert a big nail in the tube and apply. It can be painted over. It stays flexible for years.

OR, ya cud slap a gob a roofin tar over the dad burn thang in fergit it.
