I seriously think my cat is clogged. Im gettin about.....30" to the gallon, lol. No,seriously,Ive talked to a few guys over at FTE and a couple here, they say it sounds clogged,How could I check it myself,or,if not my self, what does it usually cost to have it checked out? And guys, this time,I have the money to have something done. This truck is begging to piss me off.

Hook a vacuum gauge to manifold vacuum. Start the engine & rev it up to ~2500rpm & hold it at that rpm. If the vacuum decreases with time, the exhaust system may be plugged.

You can also hold your hand in the exhaust stream just behind the end of the tailpipe. Have someone floor the throttle & see if it blows your hand (it will be hot) real hard. If it doesn't, there's pluggage.
