Just wondering if someone could tell me what the threaded hole on the passenged side of my 350 sbc is/was for. It's located near the center and pretty much directly behind the collector of my block hubber header. Does that hole go all the way though? Thanks!

Centered, just above the oil pan is a drain hole. Yes it goes thru into coolant. Takes a pipe plug or knock sensor.
