Got a strange problem with my 56 Ponty with a 316 engine. There is no oil getting to any of the rocker gear on the left side of the engine. Plenty of oil on the right hand side and plenty of oil pressure but it stated squeaking as all the rockers were dry. Changed oil and checked filter etc got me beat.
Anyone have any ideas??????????

I had a later Poncho that had push rods plug up. Have you pulled them and taken a look through them. I doubt that it is probable that all 8 plugged on one side. IIRC, each bank of lifters is fed by a separate oil passage. More likely that this is plugged up. If that is the case, unless you are really lucky, your best bet is a tear down, thorough cleaning, and then rebuild.
