I know a lot of questions have been asked about what primer to use when, And Iam confused. I am working on a 72 Ranchero which I am stripping a panel at a time. And I need a primer which will hold up to weather until I am ready to paint. Any suggestions

From what I have read a self-etching primer that is a sealer would work best for your application. I am doing the same thing on my 68 Cutlass. In fact I had planed to lay into the trunk lid today but when I got up this morning there was ice on everything, and more falling. This is worse weather than we got all winter.
