Guys,

I just bought some new Moog upper control arm shafts for my 70 GTO and I noticed they are offset when compared to the originals. See pic. I spoke to the tech line at Moog and he said this is to help with suspension geometry. He said it's recommended that the shaft be placed with the "bow" towards the engine to move control arm out, but my current factory shafts require a few shims already for alignment (i.e. move the arms IN) and I'm thinking if I move it further out I'm gonna need even more shims. I guess this isn't a huge deal other than looking a little funky if there has to be a thick stack of shims in there. Has anybody dealt with this before? Thanks for any help you can give.

Mike
