the post said it wont stop rust, but it also i think said it was NOT porus.

Q1: so it will act like an epoxy primer?
Q2: can i paint over it okay, like it was a primer? i assume so since many posts said you can sand it and fill it just fine. but i didnt know if that was just to shoot over it again with more blitz black or with any other paint?
i.e. is it pretty much a glorified, epoxy primer that i can paint over my truck with just to keep water from going down to the bare metal under my primer, then i can paint it later on with real paint?

Jon, if that's the link in the first page, i read that and got most of my info out of it. i am also NOT particularly wanting a black business truck, no matter how cool. i will sift thru all that and try to find out if i can somehow mix a gallon of regular John Deere Green tractor paint with a yet unknown quantity of Blitz Black to come up with some acceptable form of khaki, or camo green, like my truck is now, which is etching primer over red oxide primer. the reason being is that after yesterday, when the hood of my truck came down on my head because of the wgt of the snow on it, i slammed it really hard and off popped a piece of bondo and sure enough, the metal it came off was rusted underneath. now i don't want to spend any money painting it till i have time to blast it again, which will mean a mountain of bondo work on the box. ugh.. hoping maybe these two paints will mix as well. but with epoxy primer at nearly $300/gal i might as well paint it.
fyi i DEFINITELY --DON'T want to start ANOTHER thread twenty five miles long on this!!!!
the wiki article said i could paint over this with enamel, but i just assumed it was with more black. i guess that answered one question: i will have to buy enamel when i goes to paint it a real color.
it also says i can paint over old paint, but i have old primer. it says i need urathane or epoxy primer to paint over it. i am assuming that means i have to get the BB primer from JD to paint over my old primer. i still have a question as to that.
i will check out those other links, thanks alot jon. btw, i asked but never got an answer to whether your website takes debit cards in place of credit cards, so i still haven't purchased a t shirt yet. it's been a while since i donated so i want one of those shirts before they are gone, or i could just send $.
