Youll need to check the clearance on the intake valve on the 7K3 as the intake is a whopping 2.11 inch compared to the 1.96 for the 7J2 heads. The top of the 1973 350 block will be chamfered to help "unshroud" the valves.I am just not sure it will provide clearance for the 2.11 size intake valves.
Mr. P Body would know for sure , at least I would bet, and he may stop by when he see's your pontiac post.
The 7K3 heads have the big valves both intake and exhaust, and a good Chamber Volume (98 CCs) and can be milled to give a real good compression ratio on a 455 . The only downside is the missing bolt holes on the end for the exhaust manifolds. You can make little brackets for that , though, o headers can be used.

Either of those heads will fit your 350, just fine. The 7J2 head has the small 1.96" intake and a 1.77" exhaust. the 7K3 has a large 2.11" intake which might be a little close to the cylinder wall. Both heads are rated at the same combustion chamber size of approximatly 96cc.
