I HAVE A 66 CHEVELLE WORK IN PROGRESS, I'M CURRENTLY PUTTING IN A 383 STROKER 480HP/465 LBS TORQUE WITH A M-21 MUNCIE 4 SPEED. THE CAR CURRENTLY HAS A 10 BOLT WHICH I WANT TO REPLACE WITH A 12 BOLT POSI W/3.73 OR 4.11 GEARS. DO YOU THINK THATS TO STEEP, THE CAR WILL BE MAINLY STREET/SHOW WITH A COUPLE RUNS ON THE STRIP.
THANKS KEN KAYE

Match the gears to the rpm powerband
of the cam you are using and the speeds you will be cruising in. If you have a higher rpm powerband go with the 4.11's.

If you plan on highway cruising go for the 3.73's.

And enjoy the ride!
