just got a recaro seat off e-bay, wondering if anyone knows how to remove/adjust the headrest - it's an ex-sport compact seat (sorry, it was cheap), with two rods supporting the headrest. looks like it should move up and down, just can't find the release.
thanks!
oh... and what do people suggest for streetable harnesses? (with a roll bar, naturally). looking at the schroth rally-3.

Its probably underneath the upholstery. There is usually just a type of spring clip in there holding it from coming all the way off. Unclip, or remove the hog rings on the bottom of the seat back, and turn the seat cover inside out over the headrest, exposing the foam and the back of the seat. You should be able to easily see what is holding the headrest on.

thanks, will try. by the way, noticed a previous post of yours about seats with an integrated 3-pt harness... where would i look to see what you're talking about? (just curious about different harness layouts, etc. PM me if you don't want to get accused of advertising on the BB)
