I dont' know much about the remote starter solenoid but I guy I was talking to at a speed shop told me that since I was completely rewiring my 49 chevy pickup with a SBC 350 that I should put one in. He had to leave so can someone help me.
He said that I would only need one wire going to starter and can run all my little wires to solenoid. I some time have a hard time starting the 350 if it's been running and I shut it off and try to start it.
Where can I get these solenoid (besides MAD you can't get in contact with him) And what size wires do I run from battery

The main thing is there a advantage to using the solenoid

Thanks

You can get the kit from Summit for about $25

:)

The big black one is the solenoid, the metal piece next to the mounting screws is the jumper......it goes between the hot wire and the trigger wire. The big brass end is for the battery cable.....
