I took the hinges off my 80 TA cause they where saging. I got me the pins and bushings for the repair but it looks like to me the top hinges next to the springs are bent. Are they supposed to look like that? If not should I just pound them back straight?

Check your local Pontiac dealer for new hinges. You may be surprised at how affordable they are.
Bent hinges are bent, if you try to straighten them, they're still bent. New is not just better, it's the right thing to do!

I did check. $109 per hinge. Thats $436. I think I will try to work with what I got. Thanks though for the input.
