Anyone out there have any input on steel body repair panels. I've got a '71 GMC 3/4 ton Fleetside and I need to repair both rocker panels and the lower left rear section of the cab. The rocker panels are the main concern. I've looked around, LMC, J.C. Whitney and some other online places. Other than that the truck is pretty solid. Also any ideas on attaching these panels?? I'm tryin' to finish this up before a trip to Iraqistan. <img src="graemlins/boxing.gif" border="0" alt="[boxing]" />

Try www.brotherstrucks.com, attaching them would be the normal welding. cut the old rockers off then clamp and weld the new ones on and your ready to prime and paint.

Finding Rocker Panels
I am looking for 86 cavalier rockers....both inner and outer for my 2 door, but as a one piece if I can get them that way. if not then the inners will do if anyone knows of any place that sells them. I can find only the outers.

I was at raybuck.com and they have a good selection so they may have it. If not then try search engines such as search.com and google.com. Search.com sometimes lists more info than google.
A tip.....just enter the words " rocker panels" maybe even add the name and year of your vehicle. Try different things when entering a topic cause it can get you different results if it doesnt get you what you want the first time. Search engines can be tricky that way. Hope this helps.
