I am working on a pair of Recaro seats. The customer wants them to look like the 2008 Maserati Granturismo seats (see attached).
I finally have the foam the shape that I want them and I have been working on the patterns for the cover for a while now. I have a few "finished" covers but every time I fit it the cover bunches right around the edge going down in the front. I think I have a great patteren adn design for the rest of the seat except for the front rounded part. Does anyone have any ideas of how I can achieve this look? Thank you so much!!

You don't have foam firm enough to push out the seat covers and hold those shapes. Very firm foam, almost hard, will be needed on the front of the seat and on the bolsters.

Oh, and I always say that the good thing about leather is that it stretches a lot..........and the bad thing about leather is that it stretches a lot. Whatever you need it to do, it does the opposite.
