I'll try and make this short but it's a big?
69 chevy caprice. New 350 Crate engine with headers, preformer intake, HEI ignition, and a little bit hotter than stock Cam, and A/C.
My problem. I'm not sure that my 33year old pluged and corroded radiator is up to the task of cooling. Engine size and AC are stock, But will the power add too much heat?
I'm thinking of going with a new alum. 2x1" tube rad. that's 27x19" and then adding a seprate trans cooler about 8x11", and maybe a engine oil cooler? with two 2500cfm electric fans?
does this setup seem good?, what about the Engine oil cooler?, will I have too many coolers and not enough air flow? any advice would be great
