Take off rims

My local tire guy has take off rims from cars that he has put fancy wheels on..I suspect your local tire guy may have the same..if not check around some of the wrecking yards and they may have one for you....

It doesn't have to be a 16. Just find a common old 15 inch steel wheel off a Crown vic or something with the same pattern, get the circumference off the tires you are running and buy a 15 inch tire with the same circumference.

Spare tire

Get you a standard 4 1/5 X 5 steel 14 or 15 inch rim and put a tire on it with the same diameter as the tires you have on your car at this time. Its a lot cheaper and definately a lot cooler than driving on one of those worthless donut spares.
Since you arent going to be running it forever, you might even consider just putting a good used tire on it. I have replaced the donut spares in all my vehicles in this manner.
Your local salvage yard should be able to fix you right up. Barring that, go to a tire shop that does a lot of custom rims, as most likely they will have a stock rim and tire sitting around that would meet your needs.

I am presuming your wheels have a 4 1/2 inch bolt pattern.

You might try one of these:
98-02 Crown Victoria/Grand Marquis/Town Car and
98-01 Mountaineer
98-03 Explorer
These are 16x7" steel wheels with the correct 4 1/2" bolt pattern. Pretty unusual on the SUV's except as a full-sized spare.
On the Crown Vics expect to see them almost exclusively on police/taxi vehicles.
This might be a "try it and see" thing since SN95 Mustangs have such a deep offset fitment and these vehicles don't.
On my much older Mustang I'm carrying a 16x4" mini spare from a 94-7 Crown Vic. It was aluminum, painted black. The black was easily removed and the aluminum very buffable. It fits all four corners of my car and is a good match for the tire heaights. Plus the polished finish makes nice eye candy for the trunk. I'd prefer one from a 94-03 Mustang. The same thing but in the 17" size (nice to clear big brakes). I can't find one in the junkyards anywhere and am starting to wonder if these weren't a "Cobra only" item or something.
